Shaping the Future of FON Energy Services.

Reflecting on 2025 and Shaping the Future of FON Energy Services.

Recently, FON Energy Services’ management team and Board convened in the Netherlands at the historic Duin- en Kruidberg Estate in Santpoort. This end-of-year meeting marked an important moment to reflect on our performance in 2025 and to align on the next steps in the strategic growth of FON Energy Services.

The past years have been transformative. Following the merger with C-Ventus in 2024, FON Energy Services has further strengthened its position as a leading provider of offshore wind services. This momentum was reinforced in 2025 with the award of one of the largest global Operations & Maintenance contracts for above-water Balance of Plant (BoP).

Awarded by Eneco, together with the owners of six Dutch offshore wind farms, including Shell and Ecowende, the five-year contract covers above-water BoP Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) services and subsea ROV surveys across a combined total of 303 wind turbines. With this milestone, FON Energy Services now holds long-term BoP contracts for 12 offshore wind farms, underlining our strong and growing footprint in the offshore renewables market.

In a rapidly evolving energy transition landscape, our owners, IKM, DISA, and AKASTOR, have approved a decisive strategic step proposed by FON’s management. This next phase involves separating the Oil & Gas business from the renewables-focused operations. The Oil & Gas division will be divested to IKM and AKASTOR, allowing it to continue its development under dedicated ownership, while FON Energy Services sharpens its focus entirely on renewables.

From 2026 onwards, FON Energy Services will operate as a pure-play renewables company, fully dedicated to supporting the offshore wind sector and the global energy transition. The owners, Board, and management are proud of this strategic evolution and confident that it positions FON for long-term, sustainable growth.
