Scope: Seaeye LYNX to support Hook up of the FPSO Ratu Nusantara and subsequently inspect the mooring chains for defects and twist.
Supply of LYNX 1126 and mobilised on board vessel Pacific Gas. Mobilisation in Singapore with ROV platform built to accommodate LYNX 1126 and sail to Indonesia.
Prior to hook-up of the mooring chain, the ROV needed to search the pennant wire with the subsea recovery sling which was attached to the mooring chain. Followed by a fix of position at the location.
Activities included to relocate the vessel and lower an ROV hook at 50 meter. ROV to hook up ROV hook with a recovery sling and bring the sling up on deck. Once the wire sling on deck, the subsea buoy changed out with cross-fix buoy and release to the sea for recovery by the AHTS.
The other task was to do survey of the mooring chains started from main sea level to touchdown seabed. Average of the total length each chain from MSL to touchdown was approximately 130 meters to 160 meters.
